‘The bubble’ Review

I am usually a fan of Judd Apatow’s work. ‘The Bubble’ is perhaps the longest film I have ever seen, metaphorically speaking, in that it should have been 45 minutes long maximum.

The premise is simple, a film being produced during the Covid-19 pandemic must quarantine all of its stars but takes this notion a little too far in their security measures and inhumanely treats each cast member. The trouble is that jokes are continuously made and simply aren’t all that funny. I watched this film whilst in the midst of my own Covid-19 self isolating period, and boy did it drag.

I try to watch all film’s through to the end to give them a fair shake. For all the minutes filled with small, there were another hour and half that were torturous. I don’t want to recommend this film at all.
